As I go through life
I wonder why
Push comes to shove
And people lie.
Some want to hunt
While peace they take
Pain is caused
For convenience sake.
Heart and soul
And compassion lost
The comfort of one
Is another’s cost.
Why the grief?
Why the pain?
Wreck of one
Another’s gain.
